Thropidising

In June 2024, the Tropidista team made a commercial visit to Cuyabeno, which is a national park in Ecuador, a protected area in which the extraction of wood and palm is prohibited, and which lives essentially from ecotourism. A tourism focused on the appreciation of local biodiversity, with visitors from all over the world. The lodges must meet a list of requirements established by the Ministry of Environment, respecting a rustic and traditional style of the area.

In this area of the Amazon the climate is intense, rains and strong sun throughout the year, which challenges all the building materials. The nozzle, which is normally used in the area has to be changed every 5 to 10 years, and requires regular maintenance and fumigation.

This marked a need for search for a product that would solve the above-mentioned problems. This is why the synthetic leaves of Palmex, stand out with greater benefits in the face of natural palm. Since, there is greater durability with 50 years of useful life, 20 years of guarantee, no need for maintenance and no toxic fumigations for both flora and fauna of the national park.
